Julia Roberts got the adrenaline pumping as she went out running in California. The Pretty Woman star worked up a sweat during her brisk jog yesterday in Malibu, wearing a pair of black shorts and sports jacket. Mother-of-three Julia, 42, kept herself motivated by listening to music during her exercise burst.

The actress has recently returned from Indonesia where she is shooting her new movie Eat, Pray, Love.
Producers of the film have run into trouble with locals, however, with some residents of the mountain town of Ubud claiming they had been paid less for the use of their land than others. The film crew has also had to contend with dozens of angry villagers who blocked roads and demanded £15,000 before filming could commence.

That problem was resolved, but Columbia Pictures has since beefed up security.  The royal prince of Ubud, and chief of Ubud Village, Tjok Raka Kertiyasa, has been forced to step in to ease friction, an Australian newspaper reported. 'Villagers do not understand why some people are getting paid more than the entire village, which has so far been given 10million rupiah (£700) collectively,' Tjok Raka said.

'It's about rights, not greediness,' he told the paper. 'As the head of the community, I have been invited to share my wisdom with both sides, not just with the community. The film, based on the best-selling memoirs of Elizabeth Gilbert, is being produced by Brad Pitt. The production is injecting thousands of dollars into the local economy, which relies heavily on tourism.
