September is traditionally the biggest month for advertising and editorials in fashion magazines, so how lucky for Elle  that Julia Roberts' highly anticipated chick flick, "Eat, Pray, Love," drops just in time for her to be their September cover girl. Elle released this first image of the issue, on newsstands August 11, and it includes an interview on the new film, her career and her family life.

Roberts waxes especially poetic on her and husband Danny Moder's kids. "The children became the shooting stars of him, of that thing we have," she tells Elle. "How lucky we are that we love each other so much that we burst into three pieces."

The 42-year-old actress - who is the face of French cosmetic company Lancome - doesn't want the wrinkle-smoothing injections which can leave people with frozen-looking faces because she wants her children to be able to understand her expressions.

Julia - who has three kids, five-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and son Henry, three, with her cameraman husband.

Hollywood actress Julia Roberts feels she is too old to take up romantic comedy movie roles. "I think I'm too old for those silly situations of unrequited love! It becomes less plausible when you're in the 40s to be walking down in the hallways because a boy walks by! I've read a couple lately that are more original and more mature, but they just didn't seem to fit for me," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

The 42-year-old star insists she doesn't mind taking work at a slower pace now she is a mother to five-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and son Henry, three. She said: "I feel my reward for working 18 years before having kids is that I can take the time I need for my family between jobs. "It's a great relief! Eric Roberts checked into 'Celebrity Rehab' last week. His wife, Eliza, told E! that he would be treated for his addiction to medical marijuana. "Eric quit drugs and alcohol in 1995," Eliza said. "He has no interest in anything, other than marijuana."

Eric, who is Julia Roberts' brother and Emma's dad, reportedly has a prescription for marijuana to treat his anxiety but wants to kick his dependency on it. Hollywood actress Julia Roberts says she piled on the pounds while filming her film "Eat Pray Love" in Italy. The "Pretty Woman" star plays the role of a person who goes on a year-long cultural and spiritual trip to India, Italy and Bali in the film and admits she couldn't resist tucking in to hearty plates of pizza and pasta during the scenes shot in Rome.

"I've always been a friend of food. I probably put on about seven pounds in Rome when we were shooting. I ate a lot of pizzas in Naples. It was just great. But it was hard on take 10 on a giant plate of pasta," dailyrecord.co.uk quoted him as saying. "It is a challenge and I love a good meal. Someone suggested I had a spit bucket but I can't do that because it makes me gag. It just grosses me out," she added.

Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts aimed to be a vet before embarking upon a career in Hollywood. The 42-year-old actress wanted to fulfill her dream by helping animals and becoming a vet but was unable to make it as she belongs to a business class family.

"I wanted to be a vet. I love animals, but then I discovered how hard science can be. My parents and siblings are all actors, so I grew up around it," Roberts said.

However, the Eat, Pray, Love star has no regrets that she could not fulfill her dreams and started acting instead. "It's a great way to observe human behaviour and how people react to things. It's like grown-up pretend. My daughter does it all day, I just get paid for it," Roberts added.

Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts feels even though she is on the other side of 40 she is pretty enough to stand for a beauty campaign.

The Pretty Woman star, who is the new face of French cosmetics brand Lancome, insisted that she is now confident of her appearance, Contactmusic reported.

"The whole idea of modelling in my 40s, I think, is very modern and fun. There's a kind of joy and sense of fun to doing it right now, a sense of being secure in who you are that I feel today in my 40s," Roberts said about her first beauty campaign.

The 42-year-old actress also said she admires fellow Hollywood star Kate Winslet and would love to do a movie with her.

"I adore her! She's an amazing actress, one of my favourites. And she's also really one hell of a girl! We have never worked together, sadly, but there's still time," Roberts said.

JULIA ROBERTS' niece EMMA ROBERTS is glad she grew up in Hollywood - because it fuelled her urge to build a film career.

The 19 year old, who starred in Valentine's Day alongside her famous aunt earlier this year (10), spent her childhood visiting the Pretty Woman actress on film sets.

And the experience gave the young star a taste for acting because she got to meet so many famous faces. She says.

"It's kind of cool to have been around it for so long, to see if I wanted to get into it. I would visit my aunt and you'd have to drag me off set.
