Hollywood actress Julia Roberts has revealed that she deliberately hides her career from her children, as she doesn’t want to ruin the magic of flicks for them.

The ‘Pretty Woman’ actress, who is a mother of twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 4, and Henry, 2, may be one of the most renowned actresses in the world, but her kids are oblivious of the fact.

“They don’t know what I do - yet. I kind of like it that way. I don’t know what they’re going to ask me when they do realise and I don’t know what I’m going to tell them, because I want movies to stay special for them for as long as possible,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling New magazine.

Julia has revealed that she has already lied to daughter Hazel about the basics of filmmaking. “My daughter said to me the other day that Maria in The Sound Of Music sounded a lot like Mary Poppins.

Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts keeps her acting career a secret from her children because she doesn’t want to “ruin the magic of movies for them”.

The Pretty Woman star is mother to three kids, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and two-year-old Henry and deliberately refuses to tell them that she is an actress.

“They don’t know what I do yet. I kind of like it that way. I don’t know what they’re going to ask me when they do realise. I want movies to stay special for them for as long as possible,” Roberts was quoted telling a British magazine.

Julia Roberts is a working mom and finds it difficult to balance her acting career and motherhood. The mom of three does enjoy the adult-time, though. (Most of us can relate to this!)  "It is harder because I do feel a strange obligation to raise my children! But once I'm there, it definitely is fun. I joke and say that it's fun to spend the day with people who are over 3.5 ft tall."

Roberts will play an army officer on leave from Iraq who is heading to LA. She meets Cooper, a gay man who is in love with an in-the-closet football player, on the flight. Kutcher will play a flower shop owner who asks Alba's character to marry him but comes to the realization that he is actually in love with his good friend, played by Garner. Garner's character will discover that her boyfriend is married.

I don't have any tattoos, mainly because I naturally look a bit trashy and I don't have the skank wiggle room unless I want to give up short dresses and black eyeliner, which I don't. Still, just because I can't really pull it off, I'm not mad at the idea of maternal ink.

When Angelina Jolie did it (you've probably seen the tattoo on her bicep with the coordinates of the birthplaces of her children), it seemed like she was giving motherhood something it desperately needed: an image overhaul. I know moms are rock stars and superheroes, but they really needed the positive PR.
