About one year ago, Blooming Grove native Tony Gilroy’s directorial debut “Michael Clayton” was playing in local theaters.Five months after that, Gilroy and his cast were representing that film at the Oscars.Two weeks after that, Gilroy began shooting his latest film.

And today, audiences get their first glimpse at “Duplicity.”Once again written and directed by the Washingtonville graduate, “Duplicity” stars Clive Owen and Julia Roberts as ex-spies who simultaneously fall in love and conspire to steal. 

A lot of money by pitting two rival companies against each other.Those companies are lead by Paul Giamatti and Tom Wilkinson.The film will be released on March 20, 2009 and you can watch the trailer

It was Frank Sinatra who made the phrase “A kiss is just a kiss” more than just some lyrics in a song. Well, as much as I love Ol’ Blue Eyes, I’d like to beg to differ. Not only can a kiss be a workout for your face, but it can also improve your health. Kissing sends endorphins to the brain that improve your self-esteem and can help reduce stress.Kissing is a universal sign of affection, but diverse cultures have different social norms and beliefs. Here in the U.S., a kiss is a way to show love and respect to one another.

In Europe, the kiss is used to greet and say goodbye to friends and acquaintances. However, some Indian cultures believe only married couples should share the bliss of a kiss. Not only do cultures have different beliefs about kissing, but individually we have different thoughts about what a kiss means.

So many continuations, so many...But Julia Roberts deprived the viewers of the opportunity to see what could happen with "Pretty Woman".The reason is that the actress felt too old to participate in the continuation of the movie."Hardly anyone would like to watch an old prostitute", said jokingly the Oscar winner.

Julia Roberts received the prestigious trophy for her leading role in the drama "Erin Brockovic".On Oct. 28th the star celebrated her 41st birthday.

At the holiday, which took place the previous evening, a number of "the heavy artillery" of Hollywood congratulated her that is Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Sean Penn, Bruce Willis, Jack Nicholson, Billy Crystal and others.Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder have three children - 3-years old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and Henry Daniel on one year.

Maybe she is right. We already watched her in the "Runaway bride", where she again met on the screen with Richard Gear and made us weary.
