The chairman of Bali’s Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), I Gusti Ngurah Sudiana hopes the making of a film starring.

Julia Roberts in Bali, will not disturb the sanctity of the region`s religious shrines, Indonesia’s Antara news agency reported Friday.

Julia Roberts seemingly struggled with her skimpy bikini during the filming of her latest film Eat, Pray, Love in Bali. The actress was allegedly in danger of revealing more than she intended while shooting scenes for the movie.

The Pretty Woman star was said to have avoided a disastrous wardrobe malfunction as she adjusted her teeny top. Co-star Javier Bardem was later seen splashing the water as he joined the beauty in the surf.

Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem shook off controversy over their new movie as they filmed a romantic scene in Bali yesterday.

The Oscar-winning actress, who turns 42 this week, stripped down to a string bikini as she cosied up to her on-screen lover for their new film Eat, Pray, Love.

The pair resumed filming after locals in the village of Bentuyung attempted to disrupt the movie in a row over pay.

Julia Roberts’ final outing in India was amidst speeding cars and bikes here as she wrapped up the shooting of ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ in India. Around 40-50 cars and bikes were racing in the service lane and Julia was sitting in one of the cars for a scene.

The 41-year-old actress, who landed in Indian on Sept 17 left the country on Oct 10.The actress is now in Bali in Indonesia where she will shoot the final leg of the film.

“It was a market and traffic scene with the shooting going for 12 hours. It started at 8 in the night and continued on. However, Julia was there only on the first day,” the source said.

Prior to shooting here, the crew had mostly done the filming in Pataudi at the Ashram Hari Mandir and in the nearby Mirzapur village.

The divorcee spent a year travelling and battling deep depression on what became a journey of self-discovery. The locals are praying Roberts will be their lucky charm. One worker said: "I hope the film-shooting will bring good fortune, and that more people come here to buy."
