After a successful telethon, stars - Morgan Freeman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon, Tim McGraw, Julia Roberts.

And Meryl Streep - are gathering again for a public service announcement asking viewers to help Haitian earthquake victims through Red Cross.

In the 30-second ad, the stars encourage viewers to donate now for the Haiti relief effort. Roberts said, "We don't have to sit around and talk about what we can do to help?

Because one more thing they're running short of is time." Viewers are then directed to visit RedCross.org or text HAITI to 9-0-9-9-9.

Peggy Conlon, President and CEO of the Ad Council, said, "Since last week's devastating earthquake, we have seen an outpouring of generosity from Americans, who have given their money, their time and their talent to help the victims in Haiti recover." "We are so grateful to the many celebrities who immediately agreed to lend their support and voice to this PSA." A Spanish-language version, starring Eva Longoria, will be released next week.

Julia Roberts started her afternoon yesterday by walking her two dogs near her Malibu home. She was then off to the airport with her husband, Danny Moder.

Where the couple shared a long hug and kisses before parting ways. They were just together for a post-Golden Globes vacation in romantic Paris.

Julia Roberts says Pretty Woman had a "profound effect" on her life.
 The 42-year-old actress has a special place in her heart for the 1990 movie - in which she played a down-on-her-luck prostitute called Vivian Ward - because of the way it changed her life.

She said: "Pretty Woman had a profound effect on my life, so I have an incredible affection for that movie. But it's like picking your favourite friend, it's impossible. There are different reasons to love all of my movies."

Roberts - who along with her co-star Richard Gere helped the movie rake in over $460 million at the box office - has really enjoyed working with 'Pretty Woman' director Garry Marshall again on new movie Valentine's Day.

She added to America's OK! magazine: "He's just one of my favourite people in the world, and I owe my career to him. He took a chance on me when it wasn't the easiest decision to make, and he really stood up for me. He's a great director. It's insane the people that are in Valentines Day.

"This movie is just about people loving each other and missing out and getting it right, and it's pretty incredible." The all-star cast of Valentine's Day includes Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway among others.

The deal with Lancome was signed in December 2009 and Julia Roberts has been reportedly paid 12.5 million pounds for endorsing the cosmetic brand.   According to Radar Online the company was so desperate to have the Pretty Women star as their ambassador that they didn’t hesitate to cough up such a large sum.

After attending Golden Globe awards in Paris, Julia Roberts flew to Paris with her husband Danny Moder to shoot for the company’s ad campaign.   Meanwhile the actress will be seen in the advertisement of Définicils Precious Cells Mascara.

The ad is shot by photographer Mario Testino in a Manhattan apartment.  The ad will be out in March in Europe and it will break in US during the summer.

Congressional candidate Marcy Winograd has formally asked Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and a handful of mega-stars to stop flying via private jet in and out of Santa Monica Airport because of the pollution the planes cause for neighbors in the neighboring, L.A. city community of Mar Vista.

Winograd, who is vying for Jane Harman's Westside seat in the June 8 primary, has sent a "no jets" pledge to the governor.

As well as to Steven Spielberg, Julia Roberts, John Travolta and Tom Cruise, "all of whom reportedly contribute to jet traffic at Santa Monica airport," according to a statement from the congressional hopeful.

"If the FAA refuses to act, if our lawmakers can't produce results, then the people must take reasonable measures to protect the health and safety of their families," she writes in a letter to the stars.

JULIA Roberts has splashed out on a new house for her mom. The actress freaked out when Betty Motes, 75, suffered a heart attack late last year, so Julia has bought her a plush pad close to her own Malibu, Calif., estate.

“She wants her mother to be nearby to see her three kids Hazel, Phinnaeus and Henry  as much as possible,” an insider told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Julie was so freaked out by her mom’s close call in late September that she vowed to move her closer to her own family.

“Betty had been reluctant to leave her Georgia home, but Juila has been telling her that she and husband Danny Moder could use her help with the kids.

“The ‘family needs grandma’ ploy has worked. Betty plans to move to the Pacific Palisades in the next few months.”

Julia Roberts appeared on the Golden Globes red carpet with Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson. Billy Bush gave the interview and after Roberts gave an awkward shout out to Michelle Obama, she told Billy that “NBC, you guys are in the toilet!” Billy reminded Julia that she turned down Sandra Bullock’s role in the hugely successful, The Blindside, which Bullock went on to win best actress for.

Touche! In the interview, Roberts seems a little on the wasted side, though perhaps she was just giddy from all the Golden Globes excitement. When Billy cut back to Natalie, Julia asked, "Who's Natalie?"

Golden Globes nominee Julia Roberts was solo and glowing at the awards ceremony.

But according to RadarOnline, her husband Danny Moder was never too far from her thoughts.

The pair are about to embark on a no-kids-sojourn to Paris where she is set to take part in a photo shoot for Lancome.

Roberts was in a no-fuss black dress for the ceremony where she was up against Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock for Best Actress in a Motion Picture.
